ooojules is a small creative art company dedicated to capturing authentic, everyday moments in a whimsical way. Through original paintings and thoughtfully written cards, we celebrate the quiet magic that lives in everyday life.
who is jules?
By day, ooojules owner, Julie Machado chases down to-dos and wrangles deadlines as an account manager at a marketing agency. You know...spreadsheets, feedback, timelines...all of the very responsible things.
But jules doesn't do anything that doesn't bring her joy.
When the laptop closes. the only thing jules has to do is get messy and creative. She’s been known to disappear down more than a few project rabbit holes, resurfacing with cards, paintings, and ideas she didn’t know were in there.
She’s drawn to capture the joy of everyday household objects, quiet corners and of course flowers and beautiful landscapes. Through her cards, she marries the two things she loves most: writing and wild expression through art.
When she’s not covered in paint or chasing a new idea, Julie/jules lives in Portsmouth, NH with her husband, two children, and an adorably fuzzy sheltidoodle named Franklin... who only gives her side eye occasionally

Do you do commissions?

When will I get my order?
Most orders are shipped in 1-3 days with the exception of Art Prints. Art prints are made to order and do add 3 days onto the above time frame.
Where are you located?
My studio is in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. I paint and create all over
